Natalie B Paediatric Occupational Therapy

Hello and welcome! We are a small but passionate team with one aim, which is to support children and adolescents to experience success in their everyday lives. We are located in Wantirna South, which is in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Our name, Natalie B Paediatric OT does not just rhyme, but holds a special meaning. You may have noticed our little buzzing bee, which is very intentional. Honeybees are social bees that work in large groups with one common goal in mind. Each bee within the colony completes a specific job, which then allows other worker bees to do their job or “occupation”.

We can appreciate that our children have various preferences of how they would like to enjoy their time. However, we like to foster an environment of team work and collaboration not only in our therapeutic approach but also in supporting our children to consider their busy bee lives in the context of their family, amongst their friends, within their school and extracurricular activities.

Individual Therapy

We provide a consultation in 3 parts, focussing on observation and screening assessment, parental discussion and a summary phase.

Intervention

We aid in the development of gross motor skills, fine motor skills, play, daily living skills, sensory processing and regulation using a variety of methods.

Occupational therapy assessments are extremely helpful to plan future interventions, determine the child’s therapy needs and measure progress.
