Occupational therapy assessments are extremely helpful to plan future interventions, determine the child’s therapy needs and measure outcomes and progress. Assessments outlined below may be completed as part of a detailed functional capacity assessment report or individually to either access funding and/or assess current functional skills and plan interventions accordingly. Assessments can also be repeated to measure outcomes and progress.
We use a variety of assessments, listed below.
Toddler / Child Sensory ProfileThe sensory profile is a parent questionnaire administered to parents or educators which helps evaluate a child's sensory processing patterns in the context of home, school, and community-based activities. Please Note: Prior to conducting a Sensory Profile assessment, it is imperative that we complete multiple sessions with your child, approximately 5 sessions. This allows us to understand your child on a holistic level, which will enable us to make appropriate sensory recommendations based on the assessment findings and clinical observations. | Beery VMI AssessmentBeery Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration Beery VMI (Visual Motor Integration) sixth edition with sub tests of Visual Perception and Motor Coordination.
