Social skills groups are run during the school holidays with the aim of supporting your child to develop their social skills in a calm and safe environment. We enjoy running small groups, (approximately 5 children per group) and we are diligent and purposeful with matching like-minded children to ensure a balanced group dynamic. At the completion of each group, we provide a summary report outlining your child’s engagement and recommendations to support their social skill development.

Skills include transitioning between tasks, attention, regulation, following group-level instructions, motor planning and organisational skills. | Writing ClubWe run 2 types of writing groups, one group targets letter formation whilst the other group targets idea formation (suitable for middle to higher aged primary children). |
Please note: If your child is not currently working with one of our therapists, your child will need to attend a one-off in-clinic screening session to determine group eligibility.
Groups are typically run 4 days a week in the school holidays and are approximately 90 minutes in duration.
